Let me be the first to say two things:
§ making a website is really difficult and quite tedious
§ getting things in this blog to do what you want them to do is very frustrating
I almost think that it might have been easier to create our own websites for this blog, but I’m not really sure how that would have worked either. I enjoyed making a website and think that they are very useful to use in the classroom, for WebQuests, hotlists, etc. but they are very time consuming and when it comes down to it there are already so many great websites out there that are good resources for the classroom. The positive to making your own website is that it can be unique yours and you can create one that suites exactly the purposes you had in mind for your classroom. If you make your own, you can adapt it every year to suite the changing needs of your students to come. After learning about the creation of websites I found myself thinking about the Internet in general. I really do not know a lot about it other then the fact that if you pay for the connection you have access to many, many resources. These are my questions, and I thought maybe you guys would help me answer them:
§ How exactly does the Internet work?
§ How much room does the Internet have?
§ Is there ever going to come a time when there is no more room on the Internet for new websites? And if so, when might this occur and what will happen after it does? If you delete a website does that make more room, just like deleting documents or programs off your hard drive?
I searched the Internet for a definition of the Internet and here is a pretty straightforward definition and explanation of what the Internet is, why it came to be, and what is happening with the Internet now:

I really can not find reliable information about how much room there is on the Internet and what would be done if it runs out of room. Any insight you have on this would be helpful!
